Take Back Control of Your Bladder—and Your Life.

Feel confident, dry, and free again with proven, whole-body strategies that actually work—no more guessing, no more going it alone.

You’re devoted to your family, show up for your job, and always try to hold it all together—even when your body feels like it’s working against you.

But lately, you’ve been battling urgent bathroom trips, unexpected leaks, and the constant stress of wondering where the nearest restroom is. You're frustrated, maybe even a little embarrassed, and starting to wonder if this is just your “new normal.”

You’ve been looking for a real solution—something natural, supportive, and grounded in how your body actually works in midlife.

You’re not interested in being told to just “do more Kegels” or rely on pads forever. That’s not a plan. That’s a band-aid.

But you’re stuck...

You’ve been told this is “just part of aging,” handed a generic handout, or brushed off with suggestions that don’t match your life. Maybe you’ve even tried pelvic floor therapy before—but it didn’t address your stress levels, posture, or the way your hormones are shifting.

You’re tired of feeling like your bladder is in control of your schedule.

You’ve skipped workouts, avoided social events, and quietly rearranged your wardrobe so leaks won’t show. You’re starting to lose confidence in your body—and that’s the hardest part.

What you really want is to feel strong, confident, and dry again.

You want to laugh, sneeze, exercise, and travel without mapping every public restroom. You want to trust your body again, without fear or second-guessing every move.

If that sounds like you—you’re in the right place.

I’m here to help, and I’ll meet you exactly where you’re at.

So let’s get started.

Meet Melissa

Certified Health & Wellness Coach

Hi there, I’m Melissa Leisenring, founder of The Empowered Core Method.

After over a decade as a pelvic floor physical therapist, I realized too many women were being told that leaking, urgency, and bathroom anxiety were “just part of getting older.” I’m here to call BS on that.

I’m a midlife mom, health coach, and physical therapist who understands how overwhelming it can feel to suddenly be navigating perimenopause symptoms—while still trying to show up for your family, career, and yourself. I’ve seen firsthand how stress, hormones, and outdated advice can leave women feeling stuck and ashamed when it comes to bladder issues.

I help strong, smart, midlife women ditch the leaks and urgency through holistic, whole-body strategies—so they can move, laugh, travel, and live confidently without fear of peeing their pants or mapping out every bathroom.

You’re not broken. You’re not alone. And I’m so glad you’re here.
